The working conditions and tariffs for sending SMS messages to the MTS operator's network are changing (Russia)

Since 01.03.2023, the conditions for charging SMS messages sent to the network of the MTS telecom operator (Russia) have been changing. From the specified date, the operator enters a new type of message: Authorization SMS – SMS messages corresponding to the templates of authorization messages previously agreed with the operator, used to transmit one-time codes and passwords for access to closed services.

The message templates previously agreed upon by the MTS operator and corresponding to the rules for creating authorization SMS will be automatically sent for registration in MTS for this type of traffic. Please check which templates will be accepted by the operator, and add new ones if necessary.

Also, starting from 01.03.2023, the tariffs for each type of SMS messages (transactional, authorization, service, advertising) are changing. The new tariffs are indicated on the website on the Tariffs for MTS operator page.
