The working conditions and tariffs for sending SMS messages to the Megafon operator's network are changing (Russia)

From 30.12.2021 , the operatorMegafon is changing the terms of service for sending SMS messages. For the allocation and maintenance of the letter name of the sender for the transmission of SMS messages to the Megafon network and operators working on its network (Iota, Газпром, OS Telecom), будет взиматься обязательная ежемесячная плата в размере 2 000 руб. с учётом НДС. Также с 01.01.22 г. меняются тарифы на отправку, новая стоимость SMS-сообщения указана на странице Тарифы для оператора Мегафон (Россия).All names registered on a free basis will be deleted, and to send messages to Megafon subscribers, registration of the sender's paid name will be required. The current approved paid names of senders will continue to work.
Applications for registration are accepted in your personal account on the page "Settings" → "Names of senders". When creating or changing a name, you must set the option with paid name registration for the Megafon operator.
Messages from unregistered names on a paid basis will be blocked by the operator.
Due to these changes, paid names submitted for registration in December for the Megafon operator will be registered after 01.01.22 (in order to avoid charging the subscription fee in December). If you need to register a name earlier, then you need to report it to names@smscentre.com.
The conditions for registering names do not change:
It is important that the sender's name matches the company name, is a registered trademark or a domain name confirmed by a certificate. Megafon strictly checks the names submitted for registration, and rejects all those that do not comply with its rules. Documents confirming the right to use the name must be sent to e-mail names@smscentre.com or uploaded to your personal account in the "Contracts and documents" section.
